The Head of Vape Channel (HVC) plays a critical role as the main point of contact for all vape channel customers. The HVC develops and execute channel strategies and customer plans that deliver the brand and sales objectives for the channel in the UK market

  • Specific responsibilities include lead, manage and development of the internal vape KA team, sell in/implementation of joint business plans, product listings, new customer acquisition and implementation of trade programmes and training schemes
  • Performance in this role will be measured primarily by the management and development of the vape KA team, achievement of product listings and distribution, volume and sales growth, category partnerships, share of mind/voice of the trade and in-store execution
  • This role is ideal for someone currently working as a National Sales Manager, Channel Manager or Sr. National Account Manager looking for their next challenge
  • This role reports to the UK Sales Director


  • To identify and win new business, develop joint business plans and effectively deploy resources to drive sales and ROI for the channel
  • To manage the effective deployment, resourcing and implementation of merchandising agreements, trade incentive schemes and training programmes
  • To manage, motivate and lead the internal vape KA organisation
  • To develop and maintain long term mutually beneficial relationships with all relevant contacts within the vape channels
  • To negotiate, manage and evaluate annual P4P agreements and new product launches with designated accounts to achieve the overall business plans
  • To deliver agreed sales targets for the channel within budget
  • To review and implement trade terms and price increases which support the company strategy
  • To ensure customer payments on a timely basis
  • To update and maintain customer strategic account plans and sales reporting


  • Skills
    • Commercially astute and able to drive business performance
    • Strong track record of achieving sales and profit targets
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills essential, ability to adapt to a range of audiences
  • Key Attributes Necessary for Success
    • Customer centric-ability to build strong business relationships with different customer profiles
    • Ability to problem-solving and think on your feet
    • Self-starter - Effective working independently and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
    • A full UK driving license is required for this role
  • Experience
    • Extensive experience in sales management including Field Force and Key Accounts
    • Experience in the vape channel a plus
  • Education
    • BA/BS degree preferred but not required
    • Experience in the FMCG sector
