Associate Manager, Trade Marketing

Position Overview

JUUL is seeking a top tier candidate for the role of Associate Trade Marketing Manager-National Accounts. This position will be responsible for supporting the Trade Marketing Manager in the development of retail and trade marketing initiatives including strategy, branding, budget, execution, and ROI in partnership with key retailers in the Convenience Store Trade. Although this role will be based in San Francisco, it will be responsible for JUUL’s National Accounts. The ideal candidate should have extensive problem-solving skills and be comfortable in our emerging category as well as working in cross-functional teams across the organization.


  • Assist the development and execution of overall Trade Marketing go-to market strategies for National Accounts including product launches, promotions, activation, event marketing, and social media campaigns
  • Support trade marketing program implementation by acting as a liaison between the national sales, trade marketing, brand and creative teams
  • Assist internal Sales team to increase the presence of JUUL collateral in key retail accounts through creative asset tickets (display fixtures & POP collateral)
  • Manage and update digital asset management system
  • Support budget and spends through PO creation and tracking
  • Support the development and maintenance of new Trade Marketing team processes
  • Assist in managing third party suppliers- specifically inventory management systems (forecasting, allocation and deployment of POP materials)
  • Become the product and collateral expert for Sales and Retailer needs
  • Maintain proactive communication across multiple cross functional teams both internal and external
  • Some travel to trade shows, account meetings and industry events

Personal and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in (Retail/Trade/Brand Marketing, Marketing/Sales Operations)
  • Trade Marketing experience key; how consumers think and act in various retail environments and activate programs to reach them most effectively
  • Experience in consumer products and regulated category a plus
  • Strong eye for detail and process management
  • Experience in sales function a benefit, marketing skills more critical
  • Exceptional communication skills including oral and written
  • Able to manage multiple projects and contacts efficiently
  • Thrive and succeed in a rapidly evolving and growing environment
