Juniper Square invests in a hybrid workforce and we offer three work modes: full time remote work from your home office, a hybrid of home and office work from one of our office hubs, currently in San Francisco and Austin, or full time work in an office hub. The company headquarters is in the Cloud and we invest in digital-first operations. We have communities of remote employees across the US and Canada, with more substantive local remote working communities in Seattle, Denver, Chicago and New York, but we are open to employees working in several states and provinces. About your role

As a Senior IT Systems Administrator at Juniper Square, you will design, build, deploy and support IT services. You will apply best security practices and respond to security incidents. Specifically, you will:

  • Manage cloud services including identity, communications, and infrastructure
  • Manage cloud service integrations
  • Manage on-prem corporate networks and servers
  • Lead corporate workstation mobile device management (MDM) and workstation security
  • Provide support to a strong IT service desk
  • Help ensure a strong security posture and incident response process
  • Help with security/compliance initiatives


  • Bachelor's degree (technical field is a plus, but not necessary)
  • 5-10 years of IT administration experience with a focus on security
  • Expert knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite)
  • Enterprise experience managing fleets of Macs with MDM
  • Strong experience with IDPs and SAML
  • Strong experience with on-prem servers, telephony, and networks
  • Strong experience with security incident prevention, detection, and response
  • Solid understanding of macOS.  Windows and Linux knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure services like AWS and GCP
  • Experience with cloud service integrations like Zoom, Slack, Atlassian
  • Experience with security assurance standards such as SOC 2 is a plus
  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language
  • Familiarity with ITIL a plus
