As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Asset Wealth Management Tech and Ops team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Aligns with leadership teams across the Customized Managed Account Solutions ('CMAS') business, Global Managed Accounts ('GMA') operations and portfolio managers spanning Equity, Tax-Smart, Fixed Income and Derivatives SMA strategy offerings to establish a cohesive, long-term vision for the platform taking into consideration the following core tenets:
    • Personalization at Scale
    • Platform Capacity/Resiliency
    • Product Innovation and a Digital-first Client Experience
  • Focuses on mapping out the target-state architecture to achieve this vision-defining the key Technology dependencies and Business decisions that will need to be made and layering-in a clear view of phasing across business functions along the multi-year journey.
  • Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Identifies and mitigates risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Utilizes advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Champions the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical programmanagement, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
  • Fulfilling functions across Program Management, Project Execution, Business Analysis and Product Management on an as-needed basis, often multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, able to adapt messaging to a variety of levels of management and peer groups.
  • Demonstratable experience leading large-scale software delivery initiatives across multiple application teams in a corporate Technology landscape.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
  • Minimum a basic understanding of principals of Technology architecture.
  • Expertise of SDLC tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Mastery of MS PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Industry knowledge in Wealth and/or Asset Management in the Managed Accounts space.
