Latam Payments Business Management (BM) team supports the Payments business which plays a critical role in the infrastructure and capabilities that enable money movement globally. The team is engaged in both supporting BAU business objectives, as well as shaping the go-forward strategic vision of the business, working with a wide range of product, line of business and functional partners.

We are looking for a strategic minded Business Manager to partner with the Latin America Payments teams on executing its strategic agenda. The team works very closely with Payment's technology leaders and product managers, playing a core role in shaping the business strategy, analyzing, interpreting and presenting financial information to the business leads and create efficiencies. The team believes in a collaborative approach, relationship building, and maintenance will be a key to succeed in this role. We are looking for a candidate that can collaborate globally across a diverse set of stakeholders in a dynamic environment. This is a highly visible role across the Payments organization and offers the ability to work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders. A learning mindset is essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

In this role you will work with technology leaders, program managers and product managers; you will be responsible for supporting prioritization and execution of the regional roadmap, review/explain financial performance, understand drivers of revenue and expenses for their respective products and advise on course of actions. You will use several reports to analyze multiple sources of information and data visualization tools to tell the story behind the numbers. You will need strong quantitative skills and storytelling using data. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting and influencing across a diverse slate of stakeholders: diverse in both seniority and geographic location.

  • Build models to perform data-driven analysis used to provide business intelligence to drive the strategy of the business within the region.
  • Act as the key point of contact for technology, product and support areas to help achieve business objectives.
  • Responsible for creating senior management presentations such as periodic business reviews, all hands, town halls, among others.
  • Help communicate the business strategy, performance and priorities globally. Proactively and on request provide strategic analyses to facilitate business progression
  • Support unit heads through budgeting, forecasting and expense management process
  • Support the technology and product teams with annual investment plan, including preparing monthly financials and building multi-year business cases. Lead the process on cross LOB allocations, by suggesting methodologies and managing communications.
  • Organize complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in MS Office suite. Create wireframes and mock-ups quickly and iteratively for management presentations, reports, and dashboards
  • Be able to respond quickly to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis
  • Ensure the business is in compliance with LOB and corporate-wide objectives and policies
  • Build effective relationships and work closely with F&BM colleagues across WP and Banking

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, finance or business; experience in a strategic or similar role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Payment Industry
  • Advance knowledge of MS Office. Intermediate knowledge of data transformation and visualization tools (eg: Alteryx, Tableau, etc)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; flexibility, ability to prioritize requests and multi-task and project management skills
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and effective under pressure
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills; team player
  • Understanding of Payments preferred
  • Ability to work well individually and partner effectively
  • Pro-active and problem-solving mind-set with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
  • Comfortable presenting to senior (ED/MD) audiences, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally with multiple competing priorities and deliverables
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
