As a Business Analytic Developer in the Data and Analytics Reporting team you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact with your responsibilities for designing and implementing control and performance reporting to support Consumer & Community Bank Collections and Recovery for Auto, Business Banking, Card, and Overdraft Collections. Job responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of business reporting using target-state business intelligence tools such as SAS or Pythons for data curation and analysis
- Develop end-to-end control, operational and performance reporting from the Collections Product backlog
- Work with stakeholders to ensure thorough, complete, and accurate documentation of critical processes across the business area
- Establish timelines, conduct research, and deliver progress while ensuring that internal processes and controls are in alignment
- Perform ad-hoc data retrieval and analytics
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions including infrastructure; data gathering and transformation; analysis; and presentation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree with major in information systems, computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, business administration or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in the development of business reporting. Work experience in consulting, accounting, or another data-intensive role will also be considered
- 3+ years of experience with SQL and one or more of the following reporting tools: SAS, Python, or similar tools (AWS, Snowflake, Alteryx, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or a similar relational database product in a large-scale production environment
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills; Ability to summarize facts, variables, alternatives, and potential outcomes to assist in decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across the organization
- Experience with gathering and analyzing business requirements
