Job Summary:
As a Merchant Operations Reporting and Analytics Associate (Business Analysis Associate II) in Merchant Services Operations, you will work closely with senior management to provide executive communication support, data visualization, and operational performance analysis. You will develop robust metric dashboards, support high-priority efficiency initiatives, and help drive business decisions through actionable analytics. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class client and employee experiences.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop spreadsheets and reports, including opportunity analysis, workflow analysis, profitability, and historical reporting.
  • Coordinate, collect, consolidate, and communicate information to support leadership teams in operations management.
  • Distill complex ideas into simple, clear, and actionable messages for leadership.
  • Develop performance metrics and assist in designing dashboards; partner with MIS to automate and streamline reporting.
  • Collect and analyze data and assumptions to prepare business case materials for process changes and prioritization.
  • Track results through implementation and in the ongoing BAU environment.
  • Develop and monitor key performance and risk indicators, identify trends, and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Work with leaders to develop and maintain executive reporting for BAU processes and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and deliver world-class experiences.
  • Participate in special projects for Merchant Ops as assigned.
  • Support executive presentations and data storytelling for senior leaders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; proven ability to communicate at all levels (written, voice, in person).
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of SQL with ability to read and write queries.
  • Ability to execute or modify solutions using HTML, Python, or similar coding languages.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Alteryx.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task independently.
  • Ability to manage complexity while fostering open communication.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • For Education, Preferably in Finance, Operations, or Business Management.
  • Tableau knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in executive reporting or business analytics.
  • Experience in financial services or payments industry.
  • Experience with process improvement or automation projects.
