The Pay & Time Operations team is essential in enhancing the platform, processes, and experiences for employee pay, time, and absence tracking across JPMorgan Chase. This role is pivotal in our transformational journey to deliver personalized experiences and ensure high-quality output for employees and managers. Our goal is to achieve automated operations with robust controls and superior employee experience, with the APAC Pay & Time Operations playing a key role in this transformation within Corporate HR.

Job Summary

As an Associate in the APAC Pay & Time Operations team, you will play a key role in the continued innovation, testing, implementation, and sustainment of the Pay transformation across Oracle HCM cloud application, Global View Payroll, and related suite of applications and business processes. You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders to execute and implement the ongoing technology strategy that will enable the Global HR organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Day-to-day representative for International Pay and Time Ops Team; owns the end-to-end experience for stakeholders and by partnering to understand the needs and practices of all groups who interact with the aligned product
  • Responsible to collect business requirements and translate them into Product backlog
  • Craft user stories for technology teams with a reference to functionalities like AI agentic workflows, orchestration layers, Oracle to ADP Payroll Interface , Oracle HCM payroll elements, integrations, reporting or compensation modules
  • Responsible to test including creation of scenarios, performing test, monitoring production, change management related documentation and checklists.
  • Engage with the Control partners on change review, minimize/ eliminate risks for a robust process
  • Responsible to prioritize the operations backlog for fixes/ new automation; Partners with the different teams to impact analysis for future investments and current items and drive towards success

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 8+ years of experience of payroll or product owner in a sizeable global organization
  • Experience and Ability to identify simplification and optimization opportunities in processes - operational rigors
  • End-to-end payroll understanding from Payroll processes or implementing payroll systems
  • Ability to write test scenarios, test cases and partner with product and technology to execute/conclude testing.
  • Ability to identify solutions to business problems utilizing data, process, and digital assets
  • Proven track record of delivery; ability to drive concepts to execution
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and navigate multiple tasks running in parallel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to represent well to the stakeholders
  • Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented work ethic
  • Customer obsessed - develops deep empathy and understanding in service of creating frictionless end-to-end experience
