Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and advises the Optical Tooling and Mold Tooling operations.
  • Coordinates actions to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems.
  • Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, and Facilities to ensure fit and support of business objectives.
  • Directly supervises personnel responsible for production support activities and ensure focus on safety and quality. Provides adequate support, training and development of staff.
  • Identify, plan, and implement future support functions states in alignment with the progressions of plant and business strategies.
  • Supervise employees on following the environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of an Associate's, Vocational, Technical/Trade, or equivalent degree/certificate is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or focused degree in Science, Engineering, or related Technical field is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of six (6) years of relevant supply chain work experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of people management experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering operations, and or project management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience leading and implementing business process changes and change initiatives

Preferred:

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

Other:

  • Require ability to work in a rotating 12 hours shift (6 pm to 6 am).
