The Flextronics Supplier Sr. Quality Engineer provides quality assurance expertise in the management of Flextronics Juarez Graphic Cases and Trays Supplier Team. The Senior Quality Engineer 3 interfaces with DePuy Synthes Procurement, R&D Engineering, Regulatory Compliance and Senior Source Quality Management and Flextronics Management. The Supplier Quality Engineer 3 gains supervisory experience while leading another engineer and 2 Source Inspectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and correct product and process issues through nonconformance, CAPA, Supplier Change and complaint processes.
  • Report on Flextronics Juarez Graphic Cases and Trays performance metrics and management review.
  • Ensure comprehensive measurement systems to monitor effectiveness of quality and reliability systems to identify, bracket, correct and prevent defects, presenting reports to management.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A Degree in Engineering, Life Science, or related subject area is preferred.

Required:

  • Must have at least 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • A demonstrated ability in a GMP and/or ISO regulated industry is required.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Both, FDA, and ISO regulations knowledge is required.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills are required.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Operations supplier quality experience is preferred.
  • FDA CFR Part 820 and/or ISO 13485 knowledge is preferred.
  • Auditing background is preferred.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ Certification and trainings are preferred.
  • Experience with CNC Milling and Turning; Press Breaking and Punching, Assembly; Metal Laser Etch; Silk-Screen, and Metal Processing such as passivating anodizing and heat treating are an asset.
  • Proficiency in Spanish an asset.

Other:

  • The anticipated base pay range for the position is $73,000 to $102,000.
  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
