Under the direct supervision of the Facilitator of the Department to which he is assigned, he will perform all the required functions with the various manufacturing areas in accordance with the specifications, "GMP / QS Regulation" Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety Rules, and Employee Manual. Operate manufacturing machines making adjustments, changes, and preventive maintenance if necessary. You will go through a period of training, qualification and learning curve during which you will perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning the work area to avoid contamination and/or product mix.
  • Search and verify the batch components ("Batch").
  • Make ("Set-up") proper assembly of your machine and "changeover" configuration changes if necessary.
  • Execute basic preventive maintenance.
  • Product assembly according to the specifications and "GMP's or "QS Regulation" of the Area.
  • Product Quality Inspection according to the specifications.
  • Prepare and complete the documentation of the different manufacturing steps as established by the specifications of the area.
  • Batch Reconciliation ("Batch") and transfer of material to the appropriate areas.
  • In processes or departments where the Certified Operators system is implemented, the Associate will be responsible for inspecting and disposing of the product according to the Quality Assurance Plan.
  • Use personal protective equipment and devices to safely perform the job as necessary.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma is required, a Technical Degree is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of professional experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentages) is required.
  • Basic knowledge of computer skills and the use of their applications (Microsoft Office, Manufacturing Execution System "MES", and Human Machine Interface "HMI") is required.
  • Good manual agility and eye/hand coordination to work with microscopes and/or magnifying glass (eye piece) is required.
  • Available and willing to work 3rd Shift (10pm-6am or 9pm-5am) and/or 12 hours Shifts (5pm-5am or 5:30pm-5:30am) including weekends and holidays are required.
  • Able to perform manual repetitive movements (fine handling) and/or shoulder lifting weighing approximately 16-30 pounds is required.
