The Maintenance Supervisor leads and advises Maintenance Technicians, Calibration Technicians, and Maintenance Planner in the daily support of the Manufacturing Operation. Detect and resolve equipment-related process constraints. Lead equipment-related projects and/or provide support to engineering project led by engineers. Lead equipment-related continuous improvement as well as providing technical training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Effective management of Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures
• Ensure equipment and product compliance with cGMPs
• Detect and resolve constraints and reduce equipment and process variability
• Provide leadership, teaching, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports to better achieve tactical and strategic goals
• Qualify and train construction contractors, equipment suppliers and internal technical associates
• Explore any new technologies (equipment-related) for the plant to reduce costs and improve quality
• Solve equipment issues (down-time, change-over reduction) and work on continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage execution of equipment maintenance and calibration programs
• Team with Engineers and other Team Leaders to find opportunities to expand capacity and implement solutions
• Work with the operators and technical associates to identify and resolve equipment issues

Qualifications

• Associates degree (or equivalent level of coursework) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering Technology or a related subject area is required
• 3-5 years Comprehension of manufacturing processes and equipment required
• Experience supervising and/or leading a team required
• Demonstrated good verbal and written skills, and tried analytical ability
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience using CMMS required
• Leadership capability
• Stay abreast of industry trends, standard methodologies and new technologies
• Ability to deliver tangible benefits to the business
• Customer and quality focused
• Technical knowledge of packaging and manufacturing equipment required
• Proficient with data collection tools (oscilloscope, data logger, etc.) required
• Ability to motivate, lead, guide and direct Maintenance Technicians
• Must be proficient to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to travel up to 10% Domestically required
