Imagine how your contributions, creative ideas and interest in teaming on major projects will inspire and help shape, build and drive your future success.

Here is just a glimpse of what will keep you engaged.

1.Perform system of systems engineering and integration for Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Integrated Combat System (ICS) in surface warfare domain. This requires strong systems engineering and analytic capabilities. Possess or willing to learn a broad range of knowledge on the SSDS platforms including CVN, LHA, and LPD class ships. Review and analyze current operational issues based on data extracted from Developmental Test/Operational Test (DT/OT) and develop reports, mitigation recommendation to present to government leadership.
2.Perform systems of system engineering/integration with a complex sensor, combat, and weapons systems. This requires basic understanding of architecture such as Product Line Architecture (PLA), System Track Manager/Track Sever, CEC, and Links 16…etc.
3.Perform system analysis to support a larger team to develop the top level requirements of the Naval Capability Document (NCD). Work with the technical leads, and program manager to identify current Fleet issues and develop near term mitigation plans and future capability roadmaps to support SSDS ICS baseline modernization with respect to surface warfare area.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar field with minimum 5 years experience with Systems Engineering practices: concept development, requirements analysis, Software architecture design.
  • Experience programming for scientific or engineering applications, and algorithm development using tools such as MATLAB or Mathematica
  • Experience leading small teams on various engineering efforts.
  • Experience in architecture analysis tools such as Enterprise Architect
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, CI, Test driven development)
  • Demonstrated strong communication both written and oral with experience briefing senior level government leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with remote teams.
  • Active Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience with a Ph.D in appropriate technical field.
  • Experience Surface Warfare Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP), missile systems, sensor systems and architectures, requirements development, physics-based modeling, Systems Tool Kit, MATLAB, and Enterprise Architect.
  • Active TS/SCI
