Our work contributes directly to maintaining US nuclear deterrence and keeping our country safe. Our team develops, applies, and maintains deep expertise in RF modeling and engineering, advancing state-of-the-art simulations and conducting groundbreaking RF research that changes the way our nuclear forces operate.As a Senior Modeling and Simulation Scientist...- Your primary responsibility will be to lead teams designing and conducting perform detailed analyses of mission performance for Navy and Air Force assets, identify operational gaps, and make recommendations on ways to address those gaps. - You will conduct architectural and operational trade analyses to inform acquisition strategies, sustainment efforts, state-of-the-art solutions.- You'll collaborate with our government partners and your teammates to create groundbreaking new concepts for expanding the modeling and analysis suite. - You will craft reports and presentations to communicate results to team members and government partners.- Strong candidates will have deep expertise with modeling, statistical data analysis, signal processing, Monte Carlo simulation, and software development. Even stronger candidates will have experience with RF communications, operations research, and digital mission engineering, in which system-of-systems tools and practices are exploited to understand, model, analyze, architect, design, and manage complex missions as end-to-end mission threads.You meet the minimum qualifications for this position if you have:- PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, EE or related field- Have at least 2 years professional experience - Strong Modeling and Simulation background with either statistical analysis, RF communications, software development (familiarity with UNIX, LINUX, MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, and Java)- Excellent problem solving skills and oral / written communication skills- Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a multi-organizational team- An ability to travel on a limited basis- Are able to obtain Interim Top Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information.
