Cyber Technologies Reverse Engineer
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking a Cyber Technologies Reverse Engineer.

Duties (Listed in order of importance with the estimated amount of time spent at each task):
Lead and collaborate with teams, analyze devices to characterize funtionality and identify vulnerabilities in support of problems of national importance. Create solutions for prototype and operational systems and develop solutions involving hardware and software analysis and development. (80%)
- Share knowledge by clearly articulating ideas through papers and presentations to technical staff, management and Government decision makers. Take advantage of opportunities to participate in working groups, sponsor meetings, proposal writing, and conferences. (20%)

BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5 years experience in software engineering, including 3 years in technical project leadership. Knowledge of existing exploits and the ability to analyze software and hardware for vulnerabilities. Embedded systems software design and implementation. Hardware design and prototyping. Proficiency multiple processor architectures and assembly languages. Proficiency with software debuggers and analysis tools such as IdaPro. Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8 Years of relevant experience. A current DoD clearance, preferrably TS/SCI with polygraph, and prior experience working with Government agencies.
Security: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
