Position Summary

This inside sales leadership position is responsible for leading a fleet services sales team in our unassigned accounts area to consistently achieve business results and to ensure internal/external customer/client service expectations are fulfilled. This position also shares ownership of the overall sales results for the assigned industry/niche/lines. The individual will work in close collaboration with business partners such as Marketing, Product Development and Business Unit Managers. This role can be performed onsite at our corporate headquarters in Neenah, WI, hybrid or remote. This front line leader will have 14 direct sales reps.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads, develops and coaches team:
    - Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognition
    - Participates in the hiring/selection process
    - Writes and conducts performance evaluations and progress reports
    - Handles associate relations issues
  • Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities:
    - Associate retention
    - Budget control
    - Industry/niche revenue
    - Product/service line mix
    - Sales per associate
    - Revenue per account
    - Account retention
  • Manages account base assignments, sales projections/forecasts and distribution of sales opportunities/leads.
  • Assists staff with developing and implementing account specific sales growth plans.
  • Develops and implements sales growth plans for the industry/niche, working in collaboration with business partners.
  • Serves as a resource to business partners by providing industry/niche knowledge and expertise in support of corporate plans/initiatives.
  • Takes a lead role in managing industry/niche associations and tradeshow activities.
  • Manages expenses in line with departmental budgets and corporate business conditions. (if applicable)
  • Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner and ensure that staff follows these same guidelines.
  • Enforces and support all company policies and procedures. Fully support the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strive to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1+ years' experience in a JJKA sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and productivity goals.
  • Industry/niche experience a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred

Other Skills/Qualifications:

  • Ability to develop and implement growth plans and programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites may also be required, depending on assignment.

J. J. Keller provides a competitive benefit package which includes the following (eligibility requirements apply): Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan, etc. The compensation range for this role is $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 which varies depending on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's overall experience and geographic location. Note that J. J. Keller is not currently recruiting employees to work in California. J. J.
