THE ROLE

The SDR will be responsible for assisting the Jive field sales team with a variety of tasks designed to generate qualified new business leads. This is a sales support and marketing position which will enable a talented and aspiring individual to start a promising career in software sales.

This role is based in the UK, reporting to the Manager of EMEA/APAC Sales development.

We currently are seeking SDRs with German and English fluency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role consists of 3 components:

1) Pre-Qualification of inbound leads:

Follow up on inbound inquiries generated through Jive Software’s website, EMEA marketing campaigns and EMEA programs
Pre-Qualify according to BANT methodology
2) Outbound prospecting:

5 hours/day of dedicated outbound phone time dialing down lists that are provided for you with the objective to set meetings for the sales team
Quickly achieve, and maintain over time, an adequate understanding of Jive products and solutions to be able to explain them to strangers with no familiarity with Jive
Conduct telemarketing and audience acquisition activities for marketing campaigns and customer outreach
Pro-active account mapping for the top 25 and top 100 target accounts for each allocated sales executive
3) General activities:

Maintain call volume of 75-100 calls per day with the intent to qualify leads and to set appointments for Field and Inside Sales
Update and maintain Salesforce.com database as appropriate, including data discovery tied to initiatives
Meticulous adherence to process and attention to detail, ensuring that each call and conversation is appropriately marked in the system so that you get credit for your own results
Record and document all calls and communications in Jive’s Customer Relations Management to identify trends for improvement
Report results on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative
Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in B2B telemarketing with a proven track record for results
Excellent conversational and written skills
MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with use of customer relationship management databases a (Salesforce.com) plus
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere.
Capability and aptitude to gain product knowledge and learn technical terms used by customers in combination with Jive Software products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

College coursework - BA or BS preferred.
Sales or Customer Service experience preferred
Proven record of goal achievement.
