User Experience Architect

The UX Architect ensures that Jamf’s products uphold the same aesthetic integrity and usability as Apple products. The focus of this role is to create compelling, meaningful, and usable solutions that enable our users to achieve their goals, while also helping to meet Jamf's business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of internal standards, methodologies and processes for consistent, yet flexible delivery of UX services
  • Turn project goals and user needs into well thought out prototypes to guide project development
  • React and adapt designs to a rapidly changing environment and requirements
  • Design complete experiences from research, to mockups, to prototypes
  • Advocate for the Jamf Pro user and their needs throughout the development process
  • Manage User Personas: creation and consultation/selection of personas for projects
  • Manage UX Backlog: organize, categorize, and filter projects into ongoing development work

Professional Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 Years User Experience Design (Required)
  • Experience building and executing usability tests and delivery of outcomes to the UX Team (Required)
  • General Experience growing User Experience capabilities for organizations (Preferred)
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results driven culture
  • Self-starter, energetic multi-tasker, highly motivated and team player
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees
  • Ability to build and apply personas to the development of the User Experience
  • Web and mobile platforms
  • Apple Human Interface Guidelines
  • Design standards and brand consistency

Education: 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) or equivalent experience
Location: Minneapolis, MN or Eau Claire, WI
Travel Frequency: Less than 10%
