Job Description

How will you make an impact?
Working under close supervision, you will perform a variety of simple to routine tasks by following detailed work instructions. Your role will be critical in maintaining and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

What will you do?

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking.
  • Train employees in the operation and maintenance of machinery.
  • Train and coordinate activities of Maintenance Assistants (MA).
  • Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating manuals, or sketches.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform system checkouts.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company's security policy.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Associate's degree in electronics with an emphasis on servo positioning theory, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience:

  • Zero to two years of relevant work experience, preferably with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant may be substituted.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Experience with basic and specialized hand tools, leveling instruments, and knowledge of torque specifications.
  • Basic mathematics proficiency.
  • Understanding of electronic color codes and component value markings.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and requirements.
  • Familiarity with personal computers in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email).
  • Experience using specialized maintenance tracking programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery.
