Your Job

As a Senior Technical Operations Manager, you will be overseeing the successful delivery of iVision's Managed Service engagements for our core practice areas. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with many functions of our team including members of our delivery team, business development, external global clientele, and vendors to ensure the health of the client's infrastructure and system environments.

You will be crucial in ensuring client deliverables are being managed effectively as you demonstrate your influence within hands-on project management, client management, best-practice delivery, leadership and ensuring an overall high level of customer engagement is maintained. What You Could Do

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of our managed service's client environments
  • Ensure the health of the client's environments to minimize client exposure and risk
  • Resolve and / or escalate incidents and problems in a timely fashion
  • Manage day-to-day client interaction while developing lasting relationships
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Create / execute work plans, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs / requirements
  • Work cross-functionally to identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives
  • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce operational readiness standards
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Facilitate scheduled client meetings effectively
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and practices for potential application in client's IT environments
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and manage the process of innovative change
  • Work with business development to validate service SOWs / support contracts

    • Data Center Virtualization Platforms
      • VMware, Hyper-V
    • Data Center Storage & Management Platforms
      • Data Storage Technologies (i.e. NetApp, EMC, etc.)
      • Data Backup & Recovery (i.e. CommVault, etc.)
    • Enterprise Data networking
      • Unified Computing (i.e. Cisco US)
      • Data Network (i.e. Cisco LAN, WAN, Wireless, Security, etc.)
      • Voice Over IP and Desktop Video (i.e. Cisco Unified Communications, Microsoft Lync)
    • Enterprise Voice Services
      • Voice Over IP and Desktop Video (i.e. Cisco Unified Communications, Microsoft Lync)
