SUMMARY

between companies and their systems. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Master Data Manager (MDM) will oversee the company's information and data assets, including all quality and integrity initiatives. The MDM will supervise aggregation and normalization processes, and ongoing enhancement of the company's data capabilities. This includes data generated from Artificial Intelligence systems, data generated by end users, and reference data acquired to support production systems. The MDM will coordinate data hygiene and audit activities with colleagues in Operations, Data Science, and Database Management to ensure the company achieves client SLAs. The MDM will work with members of the Product team and the R&D team to develop new information capabilities founded on the company's data assets.

The Master Data Manager will be responsible to:
- Coordinate the maintenance, cleansing, and normalization of data assets
- Oversee data assets, including metadata, reference data, taxonomies, model libraries, data partnerships, and other information resources
- Coordinate the normalization processes across regions, functions, and languages
- Monitor data assets for quality and improvement opportunities
- Work with others in the firm to develop new data capabilities to drive innovation
- Develop/deliver solutions and processes for managing enterprise-wide data over the lifecycle from capture to processing to usage across all layers of the platform
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 2+ years experience in an MDM or ETL role at a data, payments, or tech organization
- Familiarity and experience with MySQL or other relational databases, advanced Excel knowledge, and other data management toolkits and frameworks
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Enthusiasm for working in an agile growth-stage financial technology company
- Quantitative thinker with the ability to analyze and improve data quality and integrity
- Experience in financial services or financial supply chain businesses is a plus
