Sr. Associate, Paid Search

Overview

Due to our growth, we are seeking a Senior Associate, Search to join our team. The Sr. Associate will demonstrate the ability to execute client projects and deliverables of Paid Search disciplines across client verticals and service platforms. The Sr. Associate will report into the  Paid Search Manager and is responsible for leading and managing the execution of Paid Search campaign performance and strategies to ensure on-time delivery and properly communicate initiatives to help achieve client goals. This position plays an integral role in leading the development and growth of the Paid Search channel team and providing project expertise to clients, partners and other external audiences. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B experience and a strong track record for managing a variety of campaigns including branding, lead generation and direct response.

 

Responsibilities

External Relationship Management:

  • Builds trust and maintains strong client relationships
  • Acts as a point of contact for the clients and is responsive to all client requests and inquiries
  • Understands clients' brands, structure and industry
  • Participates in client meetings and presentations

Strategic Focus:

  • Works closely with Strategy, Data & Insights and Service Delivery team to execute clients' strategic plans and provide best in class marketing solutions
  • Understands project goals and works collaboratively to achieve results
  • Monitors industry changes and translates those into actionable recommendations
  • Understands and can articulate our vision and strategy to clients and staff
  • Must be able to draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations (i.e. adapted to change strategies and recommendations based on data sets)

Leadership:

  • Provides guidance regarding specific tasks and inquiries from team members
  • Strong client and team leadership qualities
  • Comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on Paid Search industry topics
  • Ability to be an advanced technical/discipline leader, and manage client communication without requiring Account Supervisor involvement

Financial Acumen:

  • Responsible for daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions and bid management
  • Forecasts paid search growth and regularly communicates opportunities with the client
  • Leverages support from Data & Insights team to assist with forecasting when necessary

Delivery:

  • Responsible for operational success of accounts and ensuring deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Owns all outcomes; effectively prioritizes efforts to focus on delivering on the most important things
  • Plans, manages and executes Paid Search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to: account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
  • Audits, reviews and analyzes reports, lead optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives and performance
  • Assist Account Supervisor with client communications around paid search knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to the client
  • Works collaboratively to translate strategic vision into tactical solutions and results
  • Responsible for ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives including but not limited to: negative keyword strategies, website and category exclusions, ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance history and the client's objectives
  • Consistently looks for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches that will contribute to DAN’s success Function as the paid search expert
