Lead, Paid Social



Due to our exceptional growth, iProspect San Diego is seeking Paid Social Lead to support strategy and execution of innovative Paid Social solutions. The Paid Social Lead supports strategic development and drives day-to-day tactical execution of paid social campaigns.  The Specialist is accountable for social analytics and reporting on performance, and delivers recommendations to clients in support of their goals. The Paid Social Lead is responsible for leading and managing the execution of paid social performance, analysis and campaign strategies, ensuring that all deliverables are executed on time and are of the highest quality.   The Lead collaborates closely with the channel team to ensure that all analytics and reporting are clear, and communicated effectively to the client.  This role requires experience in paid social, driving campaigns that meet clients’ KPIs and makes a measurable impact on their business. This position plays an integral role within the channel team and provides project expertise to clients, partners and other external audiences. 






Responsibilities include:


External Relationship Management:

  • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and partner agencies
  • Act as a point of contact for the clients and is responsive to all client requests and inquiries
  • Understand clients' brands, structure and industry
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Develops and maintains accurate project plans to update clients on status of campaigns


Strategic Focus:

  • Work collaboratively to execute clients' strategic plans and provide best in class marketing solutions
  • Understand client project goals and work collaboratively  to achieve results
  • Monitor industry changes and translate those into actionable recommendations
  • Understand iProspect vision and articulate strategy  to clients and staff



  • Provide guidance regarding specific tasks and inquiries from team members
  • Lead by example and act as a mentor and coach for the more junior team members

  • Drives the execution of paid social campaigns, which includes managing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google +, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and other social media and social networking platforms; responsible for all outcomes
  • Tracks and reports on campaign results, data analysis and participate in weekly calls
  • Responsible for all tactical execution and campaign audit
  • Ensures deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Effectively prioritize efforts based on client goals and objectives   
  • Plan, manage and execute paid social campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management; responsible for all outcomes
  • Audit, review and analyze reports, lead optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives and performance
  • Consistently look for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches that will contribute to iProspect success



  • Demonstrated success in prior Paid Social roles, with a a deep knowledge of biddable platforms, evolving social channels, and the ability to make credible recommendations to clients that further their business objectives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive them to completion and deliver excellent, timely results
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, the ability to work autonomously while simultaneously collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to serve as the Paid Social thought leader within the account team, and manage client communication effectively
  • The ability to draw  critical insights from data and make specific recommendations based on quantitative client data that consistency strive to increase ROI
  • Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on Earned Media industry topics




  • Must have experience managing large scale, complex Paid Social campaigns, inclusive of Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr and Instagram, etc. 
  • Understanding of integrated digital performance marketing i.e. Bought, Owned and Earned products and services such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management and Display Marketing
  • Experience with Facebook FMPs, Facebook Power Editor and Twitter Native Ads UI
  • Experience in a client facing role, leading calls, participating in QBRs
  • Strong presentation skills, highly collaborative spirit and innate sense of curiosity about the channel
  • Experience mentoring and developing rising talent
  • 2-3+ years’ experience in a digital agency setting; Paid Social experience, working with large clients and sizeable spend
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and project management capabilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required
