Overview

Intuit's Adversary Management team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that specializes in delivering web-based services. Our mission is to build multi-channel experiences that deliver insights about Intuit's attack surface and how it is being attacked, to accelerate Intuit's ability to make informed risk decisions that ensure we keep our customers data secure.

The ideal candidate is:

  • 5+ years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience in a micro service architecture
  • 5+ years of development experience with Python and React; JavaScript and Ruby are a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (including CloudFormation, S3, CloudWatch, EC2, Lambda, Batch, Database services)
  • Experience working in a container-based environment (EKS, Fargate, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • 3+ years of API development experience
  • Broad knowledge of web standards relating to APIs and webservices (REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP, JSON, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience researching, designing, implementing, and testing highly scalable, reusable UI components, web applications and web services
  • Demonstrated familiarity with enterprise security integration (SSO, code-scanning, etc)
  • Hands on experience with automation & pipeline implementation (Testing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipeline) for enterprise applications
  • Experience with GCP, including GCS, Big Query, Data Studio
  • Experience with GraphDB and visualization is a plus
  • Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, GIST and/or Extreme Programming development methodologies is a plus
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or verifiable equivalent experience is preferred.

How you will lead

  • Design/Develop custom services that deliver insights about adversary activity against Intuit's ecosystem.
  • Seamlessly weave large amounts of security data into an easy-to-understand story through design and data organization.
  • Work with customers to understand their problems and gather requirements to develop technical solutions from prototype to implementation.
  • Ability to properly level and clearly communicate a technical solution, architecture, or a plan.
  • Help develop a long-term vision and strategy for experiences.
  • Mentor junior members of the team through constructive feedback of code and service architecture.
  • Strong implementation aptitude to translate objectives into a scalable solution to meet the needs of the end customer while meeting deadlines.
  • Work cross-functionally within Adversary Management organization as well as teams across Intuit: Architecture, Product Management, product development, and business unit security teams to drive forward results.
  • Roughly 70-85% hands-on coding.
