Account Risk Analyst, High Risk Accounts

  • Conducts holistic risk assessments of new and tenured merchant payment processing accounts, with an emphasis on financial, fraud, and compliance risk
  • Analyzes payment processing activity for egregious risk such as money laundering, collusion, explosive growth, and/or overextension
  • Reviews and interprets financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, statement of cash flow, and bank statements to determine appropriate risk controls for customers
  • Makes recommendations based on collected data and sound personal judgment that mitigate financial risk to Intuit
  • Works cross-functionally across multiple departments to gain alignment and apply the best solution for Intuit and our customers
  • Converses frequently with customers via phone and email
  • Handles multiple tasks, with minimal supervision, and quickly pivots from one task to another
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred
  • 2-3 years risk, fraud, AML, and financial analysis experience, with an emphasis on payment processing and commercial/small business lending, is highly desired
  • Ability to operate effectively in a gray area where decisions are made on a case by case basis
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and multiple levels of management
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities effectively without losing attention to detail
  • Thrives in a high volume, constantly changing, and fast-paced environment
