Essential Duties:
- Design, build and maintain frontend or backend automation framework from scratch by using Python.
- Scope out test coverage for new features. Navigate through ambiguity, prioritize conflicting asks based on risks and have the ability to adapt to a fluid environment.
- Actively participate in design/technical reviews to identify missing, incomplete or inaccurate design assumptions or design choices. Collaborate with the quality engineering team to adopt test automation best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or closely related field.
- 3 years' experience as a Software Engineer or any occupation in which software design and development experience is gained.
- Must have the following skills which are quantified as follows and may be acquired concurrently
- 3 years Python experience
- 3 years experience in gitlab/github building infrastructure
- 3 years experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- 3 years experience testing web-based applications
- 3 years experience in building automation framework from scratch by using Pytest
- 2 years AWS Cloud infrastructure experience
- 2 years Datadog experience
- 2 years machine learning experience

- Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
- Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment
- Compensation range is base salary of $148,221 - $160,000. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
