Head of Commercial Sales

The Head of Commercial Sales will be responsible for driving sales through commercial accounts. This position will be responsible for identifying and developing commercial business leads in which to sell the Intermex suite of financial services/products. In addition, will be responsible for helping shape the sales strategy by identifying industry trends, maintaining relationships with relevant external partners, as well as sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and executing strategic acquisitions/investments across the United States. This role will work closely with Marketing and Leadership teams on new commercial opportunities and potential acquisition. Will also interface directly with customers with respect to presenting solutions, offerings and contract execution for the services sold. This is a remote job opportunity, with preferred location in Miami, NY, or CA; willing to consider others as well.
Requirements
Principal Responsibilities
- Create, own and deliver the annual sales plan for products including but not limited to: GPR Card, Payroll Card, Money Transfer as well as co-branded (white label) opportunities
- Drive sales and hit sales targets through solution selling
- Full P&L Responsibility
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to determine and highlight key differentiators
- Establish relationships with customers for the purpose of account penetration
- Interface with customer, at all levels, gathering technical facts to support the quotation and contracting process to include business development efforts and customer penetration strategy
- Work collaboratively with the account management team and local/regional and national resources to maximize results
- Take ownership of deal recommendations and outcomes, through active and engaged evaluation of opportunities, driving analysis to conclusive positions on whether identified issues impact or entirely impede the deal, structuring pragmatic solutions to problems, and engage in coordinated negotiations
- Lead colleagues and team members to conduct rigorous analysis including valuation and business case modeling, incorporate well-grounded judgment, and balanced persuasiveness to provide detailed guidance and insight regarding target candidates.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 10+ years of progressively responsible professional experience with a successful track record in sales, client relationship management, and offering strategic solutions that deliver desired business results at a senior level
- Bachelor's Degree; Post-grad - (Masters/MBA/JD/MD) a plus; technical background can be a plus
- Must have Prepaid Debit Card Experience
- Bilingual - Spanish/English a plus
- Must have great follow-though skills, and an aggressive mentality
- Strong leadership skills generating support and momentum among functional peers
- Combination of executive presence and pro-activeness to enable effective planning, preparation, organization, and deliver in what can often be tight timelines
- Enthusiastic work ethic, passion for learning, and acute professional curiosity; able to solve problems with balance of independence and well-solicited input
- Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with a variety of personalities, with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
