In TypeC Subsystem (TCSS) Validation Team, we are debugging and solving system level issues in the top-notch technology of the TypeC Sub Subsystem. This includes the functionality of the USB, Display Port, Thunderbolt and PCIe protocols as part of this Subsystem, and their Power Management, on Intel most advanced CPUs.

How do we do that? As a TCSS Debug & Validation Engineer in Intel Haifa Functional Validation team, you will work on cutting edge, highly complex products where Intel is the industry driver and first to market. You will need to master the Design and Architecture of the system in order to debug mind-challenging failures and drive Intel CPU products to the max.
A TCSS Debug & Validation Engineer is responsible for planning and executing the enablement, debug and validation of the TCSS. The engineer works with all silicon and product-related disciplines and is exposed to the system elements from the circuit level to the Software/Firmware level, and all that is between them.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Computer Engineering or Computer Science with
5+ years experience in pre/post-silicon
Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management, effective listening and influencing skills that result in strong working partnership capability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Chipset integrated circuit testing and high-volume manufacturing experience
Experience in: FPGA, Emulation/Prototyping, Pre Si or Post Si validation, Logic Design, Integration, Complex Debug at HW/FW/Software/System level
Knowledge in: Memory, Power management, USB/DP/Thunderbolt/PCIe/SoC level protocols and flows, HW/SW integration.
Drivers or firmware development background
