Test Development Engineer

Job Description
In this position you will be joining the Intel Module Repair (IMR) group, located in Kulim, Malaysia.
The Test Development Engineer will be responsible for developing safe, quality test solutions in HDMT/STHI/xPV PCB area. The position requires interaction with multiple stakeholders, suppliers and/or green badge resources to adequately establish and enable test repair capabilities. Candidate will own project development, implementation and able to identify key milestones, risk mitigation and independently.
Candidate will need to instruct and assist technicians with test procedures and troubleshooting. When required, candidate will be responsible for ensuring CE! is adhered to with the IMR and SIMS organizations.
He/she also responsible for any test problem solving and working closely with customer on any failure on install board.
The person will lead a team to drive for continuous improvement projects to meet CSI such as output, yield, quality and test efficiency.


Minimum BS in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or related technical discipline) with minimum 5 years experiences in PCB Functional test or debug or validation especially on STHI & HDMT boards.
Familiarity and expertise in PCB functional test (bench test, flying probe) and C is required.
Strong proficiency with test equipment (i.e.; O-scopes, spectrum/logic analyzer, etc) is required.
A working knowledge of schematics, NI LabVIEW and/or application in a machine test and/or interface environment preferred.
Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skill, project management skill and problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to help team members in a wide variety of tasks
Capable of path finding and identifying solutions in highly ambiguous and challenging situations with limited direction
Knowledge of PCB production/debug testers and similar lab tools is a plus.
