TCAD SW / Modeling Engineer

Job Description
You will be working in a dynamic team environment which develops and applies software tools, scripts, and physical models in the materials and thermo-mechanical areas to analyze microprocessor and packaging process and reliability options for cutting-edge Intel technology products. The individual will be responsible for understanding of nanoscale physical phenomena, such as electromigration, electrostatic discharge, and mechanical failure due to stress/thermal mismatch associated with the incorporation of new process steps and materials. In addition the individual is also expected to participate in the development of test structures to quantify the impact of thermal stress and temperature on performance and reliability.



You must have a M.S or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

- 3 years of research experience in thermo-mechanical modeling and physics
- 2 years of experience programming in C/C
- 2 years of experience with scripting such as Python or equivalent
