System Validation Intern

Job Description

Be part of the at Scale Platform Validation team for Intel Datacenter Platform Group.
The focus of the validation and debug within our team implies quality and performance verification and integration of server components across various HW/FW configurations in cross geo at Scale cluster implementations. At Scale Platform team validates at unit product and system level the latest datacenter solutions from Intel.
The job will demand interaction with multiple ingredient stakeholders in different Geos.

Responsibilities may be diverse however all involved in the activities of the Platform Validation team within the Engineering team at Scale Cluster program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support on test content execution and data analysis for debug
  • Development of testing tools and improvements of processes within our validation cycles.
  • Assist on the execution and development of validation reports from at scale cloud dashboards triage and debug defects etc.
  • Generate and deliver written and verbal reports on technical engineering content.

The job can be part time depending on the disposition of the candidate and be up to 20 30 or 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork classes and project work internships and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science Masters is preferred
  • 3+ months of experience with PC architecture
  • 3+ months of experience with operating systems understanding Linux
  • Intermediate English communications skills verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bash, C and/or Python scripting.
  • Cloud development and network technology domains understanding.
