SW Validation Engineer

Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
1. Candidate needs an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in software validation and/or developments.
2. Knowledge and hands on experience of Linux/Windows system software validation and/or development is a must.
4. Knowledge and experience in Graphics/IO area , test experience in system testing , security testing , power/performance benchmarking, compatibility/conformance testing are highly desirable.
5. Good communication skill and interpersonal who able to work in a cross geo team environment. Able to work directly with cross business units within Intel.
