Structural Design Engineer - Graduate Intern

Job Description
This position is with the Core CPU development team in Folsom, California. The Core CPU team is chartered with designing the latest Intel processors using the most advanced and innovative process technologies. This Internship role offers hands-on and direct experience in cutting edge CPU core design. The candidate will be joining a fast-paced dynamic environment working on circuit design tasks for high performance Core CPU which is at the center of the digital computing world. The duration of the internship is targeted for a 6-12 months. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Computer, or another related engineering program

3+ months of experience with:

  • Logic design
  • Validation
  • VLSI circuit design
  • STA
  • Backend Integration
  • Scripting
