Principal Engineers at Intel are active technical leaders inside and outside the company. This role will provide you the scope to influence the evolution of core kernel, virtualization technologies spanning data center, client and IoT. As a software leader you will have the opportunity to drive open source architecture and optimization for Intel platforms, innovate on hardware-software co-design and drive these new ideas to engineering and execution, contribute to and influence open source community. Bachelor's or above degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering; 15 years of practical experience Senior software technical leader/architect in Linux kernel, virtualization technologies Deep understanding of x86 architecture Deep understanding of Operating System theory and implementation Background in open source development
