The Data Platform Group software team is looking for a world-class software engineer with Linux and/or VMM software development experience.
The engineer will work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment. The successful candidate should have solid system software development experience and have the ability to work with cross geo stakeholders. The work involves enabling next generation Intel technologies on the industry leading virtualization platform. Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Electrical engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Computer architecture and server platform hardware.
- System software development in C and Python.
- Internals of Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Worked with VMM technologies like VMware/Xen/KVM/Hyper-V Experience.
- Experience with memory management and Kernel programming.
- Knowledge about SR-IOV, SIOV, DMA and PCIe.
