Software Engineer - Design Automation Engineer

Job Description
Intel's Corporate Library Team has openings for Software Engineer in standard cell design automation, characterization & modeling and validation areas. The successful candidate will develop software for (1) layout automation & verification (2) library characterization & validation (3) design system and environment for standard cell libraries on Intel process for Corporate Library team. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Develop automation for layout design and verification
Develop new industry-standard digital library modeling and benchmarking capabilities for timing/power/noise analyses using Statistical Analysis, Datamining & Deep Learning techniques
Design robust validation flow for standard cell models
Analyze and enhance modeling capabilities for quality and reliability using industry-standard CAD tools and flows.
Support and maintain design environment and develop automation for distributed database management system, automate analysis & report generation of compute farm usage to optimize design/characterization process etc

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years experience is required; PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
Additional/Desired Qualifications
Experience in scripting and/or tool development using Python, Perl, TCL, C++, shell scripting.
Knowledge and experience in one or more of the tools including by not limited to Virtuoso, Custom Complier, SiliconSmart, Liberate, FineSim, Spectre, ICV, Calibre, PrimeTime etc
Experience working in the Linux environment and its development tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer orientation, and ability to work with internal partners and across organizations in a flexible manner
Knowledge of Deep learning (Keras, Tensor Flow), Big Data/Spark, Data analytics/Pandas, Web Design (JavaScript, NodeJS etc) is a plus
Knowledge of digital circuit design, including CMOS combinatorial logic and sequential element design, liberty model, cell characterization, a plus
