Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Platforms Group (DPG) as a Senior/Lead Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer!
Come join a creative team of engineers dedicated to designing the hardware technologies that network the leading cloud-service and telecommunication datacenters. We are looking for a motivated and astute individual to join our team as a Senior/Lead Pre-Silicon Design Verification Engineer. You will join a close-knit team responsible for building efficient and effective constrained-random verification environments that exercise designs through their corner-cases and verify that the design matches a golden model. In this role you will be responsible for the full life cycle of verification, from planning to test execution and including collecting and closing coverage. You will closely interface with architecture and design teams to understand design/product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Additionally, you will conduct/participate in test plan and test reviews, develop verification components and tests, and triage failures. As a senior/lead verification engineer you will mentor and provide guidance to junior verification engineers in the execution of their tasks.

The Data Platforms Group drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power 9 of every 10 servers sold worldwide.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science or related field plus 9 years of relevant work experience, Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science or related field plus 6 years of relevant work experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of relevant work experience.
- 8 plus years of experience in verifying complex designs both at the component and full-chip level.
- 8 plus years of experience in architecting and developing testbenches and verification components like bus functional models and scoreboards/checkers.
- 6 plus years of experience in SystemVerilog based OVM / UVM, VMM or related object oriented, and coverage driven ASIC verification methodology.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in verifying complex designs both at the component and full-chip level.
- Experience in Ethernet Switching/Networking verification or logic design.
- Experience in software development and scripting.
