Job Description
If you have a strong technical background and like customer interaction, this is the position for you. Intel Custom Foundry (ICF) Design Kit team is looking for candidates with strong technical skills in Reliability Verification for IP/ASIC designs, to work with our customers. You will drive ICF technologies and solutions into customer's engineering teams as well as be the customer advocate back into the Intel Technology and Design Kit teams.

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Technical management of customer accounts - participating in customer project life cycle, preparing and delivering technical training/presentations and supporting pre-sales activities.
  • Provide support on PDK issues related Electromigration/IRdrop, Selfheat, ESD and Design verification, tight collaboration with internal development teams and CAD vendors on issue resolution.
  • Create or review content and drive quality of design kits/documentation going to customers.
  • Knock down all barriers to successful customer tape-ins.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.  Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study.

5+ years of experience at a Bachelor's level with:
4+ years of experience at a Master's level with:
  • Electro migration, self heat, thermal analysis, ESD, Latch up, Aging
  • One or more of Industry CAD tools in reliability and physical design  (Apache, Redhawk/Totem/Pathfinder, Mentor PERC, Cadence Voltus, etc.)
  • Design automation.
  • ASIC or IP Physical Design

Preferred qualifications
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Tcl Python and Perl.
  • Proficiency with Industry standard ASIC tools ICC2 Innovus PT Tempus Redhawk etc.
  • Demonstrated depth in SOC design methodology SOC Integration IP development.
  • Knowledge in silicon reliability.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Reliability flows and methodology, SoC/IP Design Flows, ASIC/Custom Design, Foundry Design Enablement/Automation.
