Job Description
This position is supporting Research & Development (R&D) Outsourcing for product development on Intel processes and external foundry. The position will involve working with a global team on monitoring and tracking supplier emerging capabilities and road-maps and then working with business unit partners to map Intel R&D outsourcing needs against supplier capabilities, identify gaps and action plans to drive the best solution for Intel.

In this role there is also a need to drive and support key initiatives to enable flexibility on Intel process, such as partnering with Internal design teams on the design flow.

The position requires insight into the capabilities of the R&D outsourcing markets and design technical knowledge along the Intel product design flow. This person will also partner across supplier account managers and Business Units to drive a cohesive Internal/External Research & Development (R&D) outsourcing strategy.

This position requires some travel; in addition, given the global distribution of Intel's design teams and suppliers, there will be meetings scheduled outside of your normal business hours. This position requires being available for off hour issue resolution.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills since most of our communications with internal customers, partners, and external suppliers are via telephone and email.

Qualifications

BS Supply Chain and Business
10+ years of technical business experience and leadership in field of R&D or
MBA Supply Chain and Business
8 years in semiconductor technology experience and leadership
5+ years of R&D outsourcing and supplier management experience.
