Principal Neuromorphic Algorithms Researcher
Intel Labs is seeking a distinguished researcher to take on a leadership role at the forefront of neuromorphic computing. As a Principal Researcher in our Neuromorphic Computing Lab, you will play a major role in directing algorithmic development across both our internal team and external partnerships. Drawing on learnings from silicon, modeling, and theory, you will work closely with architects to define our next generation of neuromorphic processors. Most importantly, you will develop algorithms that enable neuromorphic architectures to deliver orders of magnitude gains for a wide range of computational and machine learning applications.This is a unique opportunity to join an extremely talented and innovative team pioneering a new and potentially revolutionary domain of computing.
- PhD in Computational Neuroscience, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.- 10 years of post-grad industry or academic experience.- Publication record that demonstrates a history of innovation in neural computation.- Expertise in Python, Matlab, and OOP languages.- Working knowledge of deep learning and/or other machine learning methods.- Strong grasp of computational fundamentals, computer architecture, and dynamical systems.
