The Performance Architecture & Analysis Team within IAGS IPAT is looking for a Power and Performance Architecture Lab Engineer to join their team. This team works on collecting and analyzing power and performance data using experimental results to drive improvements in Intel SoC products. Characterizing and analyzing the power and performance of new workloads and troubleshoot system issues related to hardware, OS, driver, BIOS, application, etc. As well as, setting up and improving automation for data collection and data processing.
In this role you will evaluate the impact of architecture features on SOC power and performance for different workloads and operating conditions. Drive power and performance improvement initiatives. Characterize and analyze the power and performance of new Silicon products and workloads. Execute lab experiments, collect and analyze power and performance data using Lab equipment. Troubleshoot system issues related to hardware, OS, driver, BIOS, and applications.

Minimum skills and qualifications:
Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience or a PhD with 1+ years of experience.
Your experience should be in the following areas:
- Good understanding of computer architecture, electronics principles and digital design
- Developing Python scripts and working in a lab environment on using measurement tools such as Data Acquisition Systems and scopes for product power and performance analysis
