In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with PnP experts to influence future products. You will develop new innovative features to increase battery life and performance on the latest generation of PC platforms and collaborate closely with our internal CPU and platform architects along with design engineers to implement unique Intel specific features. You will be a part of our engineering team that develops in-depth technical understanding of both the hardware and software in order to optimize for PnP.
In addition, this role provides an excellent opportunity to develop cutting edge features for graphics, multimedia, and low-power domains, in close collaboration with the OS vendor and our customers. Candidates with hardware, firmware, multimedia, graphics, imaging/camera, or artificial intelligence background interested in exploring system level architecture are ideal candidates.
If you have experience with l ow power optimization, rail measurements using NI DAQ, Bug analysis for high power consumptions, debugging, power estimations, low power & battery life SW/HW Tools usage, AC/DC tuning of system in thermal chamber for thermal & performance, deriving optimal PLx limits for the systems, responsive KEIs testing, or system benchmarking on different KPIs like CPU, GPU performance using different tools like Sysmark, PCmark, 3D Mark, etc., we want to talk with you!

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
o Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical STEM degree
o 2+ years of experience with the following:
o Basic understanding of power management and performance frameworks
o Computer architecture and/or embedded systems (HW and SW)
o Experience working on Operating systems such as Windows, Linux or Chrome
o Programming in C/C++
o 3+ years of Expertise working on PC architecture
o 1+ years of experience with any of the following:
o Previous experience working in Agile teams
o Familiar with validation and integration working across domains at a system level
o Power management and/or performance frameworks, including debug analysis
o Working with teams across different Geos
