Job Description
Client validation team in iVE is responsible to validate functional correctness of Intel products by developing best in class engineers and driving end-to-end validation, to elevate the Intel brand and to enable product delivery with higher quality through better focused scope, velocity and efficiency to enable to do more. PE/Sr PE Power Management & Testing Lead Responsibilities: Architecting the overall Power Management Feature Validation for leading client SOC's and Platforms. Candidate will require to build the plan and tool architecture that enables creating of synthetic test content. These synthetic directed tests will enable testing and measuring the effectiveness of the uArch/Arch power features of the SOC's. Working closely with the Pre-Si PM team build a full list of power projections and savings expected to help create stress scenarios. Candidate will be required to have broad platform level understanding of multiple system areas and interfacing with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation. Specifically, in the area of accelerators and embedded systems in the SOC that enable PnP features like Audio, Sensing and other AI accelerators. Candidate will help enable and drive debug of OS based Performance/Power KPI and help root cause deviation from projections. Will require to work cross intel to coordinate and drive necessary changes in SW/OS/Driver or other FW components critical for delivering to the PnP targets. Be recognized leader specifically in Windows OS to help influence and drive high impact changes. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual who has a strong Quality mindset ensuring the right IP quality with predictable delivery that customers can count on. Ability to work with ODM/OEM's and other external IHV's to ensure we can support SOC capabilities in customer configurations. Strong communication and presentation skills are critical to be successful in this role. Must excel in 'One Intel Mindset' in driving collaboration across multiple teams to achieve the goals. Candidate must have strong strategic and business acumen and have collaboration mindset to work with other directors, partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications
• PE/Sr PE with deep understanding of OS & Drivers and recognized leader • Deep understanding of the SOC power states and underlying capabilities of PM • SW Expertise to architect and manage test generator development • Ability to help debug complex OS, Driver Power & Performance issues • Candidate must have strong strategic and business acumen and have collaboration mindset to work with other directors, partners and stakeholders.
