Litho Process Engineer

Job Description
Litho Process Engineers are highly motivated individuals with strong technical background and capabilities to sustain, ramp, and transfer 14 nm and beyond technologies using state of the art equipment and materials in Litho areas: Litho Registration engineers are responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all elements surrounding the Litho Metro Registration toolsets. They will drive rapid continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, cost, process stability/capability, and productivity while maintaining rigorous standards within the Intel factory network. Job duties include sustaining ownership of day-to-day operations, equipment troubleshooting and mentoring technicians across all shifts to deliver best-in-class results for tool performance, cycle time, defects and parametric performance. Hands-on participation with frequent factory floor presence is expected. The job also includes developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools as well as developing strategy to prevent the problem from recurring in future. May also require transfer of the process to high volume manufacturing and participation in factory start-up as well as install and qualification of the new production lines. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Drive rapid continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, cost, process stability/capability, and productivity while maintaining rigorous standards within the Intel factory network.
- Sustaining ownership of day-to-day operations.
- Equipment troubleshooting for either the lithography scanners tracks or metrology tools.
- Mentoring technicians across all shifts to deliver best-in-class results for tool availability, cycle time, defects and parametric performance.
- Hands-on participation with frequent factory floor presence is expected.
- The job also includes developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools as well as developing strategy to prevent the problem from recurring in future. May also require transfer of the process to high volume manufacturing and participation in factory start-up as well as install and qualification of the new production lines.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements :

  • The candidate must possess   a Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related field
  • At the Bachelors level, the candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US. This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.
  • 3 + years of experience in semiconductor processing

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Litho scanner or metrology experience
  • Maintaining and improving module needed indicators
  • Up-skilling and training a diverse group of MT's
  • Factory level TF support and leadership
  • Develop VF roadmaps and lead improvements. Provide technical direction on all quality issues
  • Design of experiments (DOE) principles and statistical process control.
  • Data extraction & analysis tools (JMP, SPC, MatLab , Mathematica, SQL, python   etc.)
  • Experience in defect reduction and failure analysis techniques
