Job Description
In this position, you will partner with graphics engineering and infrastructure teams to develop software automation solutions, which will improve time to market for cutting edge products and impact the day-to-day lives of nearly 2,000 engineers. This position requires a diverse set of skills and will give you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced automation development and debug environment. If you are passionate about test automation and interested in working in a strong agile team, following continuous integration and delivery methodologies, while working with cutting edge technologies JavaScript: AngularJS, Python, No-SQL, Docker, Consul, Artifactory and Splunk hosted on the Linux OS platform, we would encourage you to apply for this position. Areas of responsibility include designing, developing, debugging and improving tools to automate graphics driver installation and testing across multiple platform types using Windows, Linux, Android, and more. You will also be required to evaluate and optimize business processes that leverage these tools. Development opportunities include designing core services enabling database and web applications, SQL and NoSQL, enabling a robust content delivery network CDN, optimizing build and test automation workflows, and spreading best-practices for software development across the team. You will be stepping into a fast-moving, exciting environment with team members that are open to change, interested in learning, and anxious to help improve the lives of the engineering community at Intel. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, open to change, ready to learn new languages and technologies, and enjoys working with a diverse set of people to create a collaborative community of software development. You should have some experience with OS and platform automation implementations and be proficient with a variety of programming languages and automation technologies.

The ideal Candidate must have the skill and interest in learning new technologies, processes, and software methodologies. Supporting a global infrastructure built on Linux, open source technologies, implementing automated deployment processes, enabling streamlined service and server configuration, and hardening a complex set of software to ensure a successful product launch.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Candidate must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. • 3 years of professional working exp in the following areas:
• object-oriented, test-driven programming practices
• Python
• Software Development for Linux hosting environment, leveraging open source technologies and languages
• System hardware and troubleshooting skills including electronic circuits
• Linux system and database administration
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with cross-OS development and deployment
• Experience in build and test automation, OS imaging, machine recovery
• DevOps experience, including support of highly available, clustered services and automated configuration management
• Experience in continuous integration/delivery
• Docker or other containerization solutions
