Intel's Visual Technology Team (VTT) is looking for talented GPU Architects, Modeling and Performanc e Engineers to join our team.

Career Opportunities:

GPU, 3D, Compute, Machine Learning, Media and Display Architects :

  • Identify key usage models and performance indicators
  • Define and scope requirements
  • Build architectural definitions, including algorithm creation, HW definition, modeling and documentation
  • Support design and validation efforts throughout entire product life-cycle
  • Conduct forward looking research and development for next generation platform designs
     
Performance, Workload and Simulation Engineers:
  • Characterize workloads, develop simulations, identify bottlenecks
  • Design and model features and configurations that improve power and performance
  • Work with software and enabling teams to deliver high-performance GPU solutions

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Education:
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in: Computers Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or STEM related field.

In addition to the education requirement above, you must have the following experience to be considered for one or more of these positions.

GPU, 3D, Compute, Machine Learning, Media and Display Architects
:

Bachelor's with 5+, Master's with 3+ or PhD with 1+ years of experience in the following:
  • Graphics Concepts:  3D, Media, Imaging & Display
  • System, Power Delivery, and Power Management Architecture

Performance, Workload and Simulation Engineers*:

Bachelor's with 5+, Master's with 3+ or PhD with 1+ years of experience in the following:
  • Hardware & Software Interfacing Skills
  • C, C++ Scripting and Debugging:  User & Kernel-mode Software
  • Simulation or Projection Modeling for Performance and Power
  • Simulation/Validation at component and system level
  • Logic synthesis and optimization of large, high frequency designs
  • Formal verification and debug

Preferred Skills and Qualification for all of the above:
  • Parallel Programming Environments: TBB, OpenCL, CUDA
  • Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision Algorithms
  • Graphics APIs:  OpenGL, DirectX, Metal, OpenCL
  • Media & Display Standards:  HEVC, VP9, AVC, HDR, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.
  • Digital design of logic functions: Graphics, computational, encoder/decoder, cache controllers, memory controllers, etc.
  • Behavior & RTL HDL modeling and design
