GFX SOC Program Manager

The SoC Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of program execution, driving overall on-time schedule and maintaining the tops-down and bottoms-up tracking of program status against plan. Their scope is from SoC Tech Readiness to SoC PRQ. They will partner with the SoC Design Manager, Platform PM (PXT), and Platform SW PM (PSXT). The SoC Program Manager identifies gaps in the program which may require additional focus, closely working with all stakeholders and IP teams, and escalating potential gaps. The Program Management Lead's scope includes schedules, resources, scope control, risks, dependencies, and communication to the team and stakeholder management. Job responsibilities include: Driving discussions in appropriate forums to ensure the key issues of the programs are being reviewed, discussed and dispositioned. Developing a comprehensive plan for the execution of the project, and driving key contributing groups. Working with all the constituent IP, SoC design, test/product engineering, software teams, packaging team, board requirements (RVPs), and fab/foundry, to ensure that there is alignment on all vectors, including quality goals and schedule. Setting realistic execution targets to communicate to internal and external stakeholders; working with Business owners to communicate them effectively to customers. Developing a budget and operating plan. Ensuring the right level of resourcing is available for the project, both in terms of skillsets and headcount, and working with functional line managers and group GMs to ensure adequate staffing.
Qualifications: The applicant should have a BS degree or higher in EE, CE or CS, with 15 years of relevant experience. - Strong influencing and stake holder management skills - Excellent executive communication skills - Solid track record of collaboration and building and strengthening partnerships - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and work effectively with a team - Reputation and track record for having can do attitude and customer first mindset - Must have direct people management experience and experience managing budgets. - Prefer candidates with PMP Certification
