FPGA Design Engineer
Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

We are a small core team that productize Smart-NICs solution - integrating ASICs and FPGAs the have flexible and robust designs to the data center.
As a member in our team, you will be a part of the greater development group - you will design FPGAs to perform a robust and flexible solution to Data Client Group clients.
In this position you will performs logic design, Register Transfer Level RTL coding, and simulation to generate cell libraries, functional units, and subsystems for inclusion in full chip designs.
You will participate in the development of Architecture and Microarchitecture specifications for the Logic components.
You will Provide IP integration support to SoC customers and represents RTL team.
Education: B.Sc EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
5 years FPGA design experience, synthesis and verification
Experience with Altera and/or Xilinx FPGAs
Understanding of standard interfaces and bus protocols: PCIe/JTAG/SPI/I2CVerilog/VHDL coding
Excellent problem-solving ability
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Good communication skills
Ability to work with multiple geo-locations and time-zones
You should be able to drive new architectures implementations from scratch alongside support for existing products at different execution stages.
Nice to have
Networking experience Ethernet, TCP/IP Knowledge in VirtIO, vSwitch, NFV and Cloud FW implementation in embedded microprocessors
