Firmware & BIOS development student

A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, Technical, Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute.
The team is chartered to develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Responsible to develop and support pre silicon and post silicon SV BIOS platform code. Work closely with processor validation teams, Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.
As a student in this team, you will deal with challenging embedded architecture and external interfaces, develop features that meet customer requirements and strive to provide innovative platform value. engage in low-level programming, system architecture, as well as source code development, review and maintenance, unit and system level test and verification
Studies: Information Systems\Software Eng\Computing or alike (with 2 years left to study).
Software development skills: knowledge in C/C++, Python.
Assembly language knowledge - advantage
Industry software engineering processes, principles and product life cycles
Competency with PC architecture or system Basic Input Output System (BIOS) - an advantage
Excellent team work abilities
Customer oriented, responsible and independent
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
