Design Automation Engineer for Extraction( Electrical/RC extraction)

Job Description
Job Description: Candidate will be responsible for enabling Extraction flow for future technology nodes, which involves development and validation of flow and methodologies to support new process nodes as well as design features. Role will encompass enabling extraction flow, through automated scripting and manual testing, for a team that focuses on enabling Intel technology R&D, This role will have opportunity to be one of the first people to run design flows on Intel's new technology and be positioned to influence how the technology and design methodologies are defined for Intel's new process nodes  by developing  innovative testcases for continuous integration in a design environment and writing automation that can identify potential quality issues in flow and silicon. Role also needs creative thinking to find corner cases, workarounds and ways to create self-service troubleshooting.

Qualifications
Qualification: Candidate should have 8+ years of relevant experience, with masters in VLSI/ Microelectronics/Electronics engineering and have worked on industry standard tools for extraction , like Star-RC and Q-RC. He should be well versed with different parameters to optimize flow in terms of quality and resources.  Candidates should have good understanding of various collaterals needed for extraction,  like tech files, to be part of codeveloping these and enable faster solution.  He/ She should have good knowledge of semiconductor physics , process technology ,EDA tools and associated challenges for advance technology. He / She should have good scripting skill for automation.
